Privacy Policy Last Updated: September 28, 2026 Welcome to SMSByMeta, a product developed and operated by Vivacious Solutions. SMSByMeta is a Google Sheets add-on that allows users to connect their SMSByMeta account with Google Sheets and synchronize contact information from the Google Sheet currently being used with the SMSByMeta platform for WhatsApp messaging and related services. We respect the privacy of our users and are committed to protecting the information accessed through Google APIs. This Privacy Policy explains what information SMSByMeta accesses, how that information is used, how it is shared, how it is protected, and how users can request deletion. 1. Information We Access When you use the SMSByMeta Google Sheets integration, the add-on may access the following information: Google Account Information Where required for authentication or authorization, SMSByMeta may receive basic Google account information such as the user's Google account email address. This information is used only to identify and authenticate the user and to provide the SMSByMeta integration. Google Sheets Information SMSByMeta uses the following Google Sheets-related information: The spreadsheet currently being used with the SMSByMeta add-on. Spreadsheet data that the user explicitly makes available to the add-on. Contact information contained in the selected/current Google Sheet, such as: First Name Mobile Number Email Address SMSByMeta uses the spreadsheets.currentonly authorization scope for spreadsheet access. This scope is used to access the spreadsheet in the context in which the add-on is being used. SMSByMeta does not request the broad https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets scope and does not require access to all spreadsheets in the user's Google Drive. SMSByMeta does not intentionally access unrelated spreadsheets or other files in the user's Google Drive. 2. Information Provided by the User The SMSByMeta integration may also receive information that the user voluntarily provides, including: SMSByMeta API key Contact information selected for synchronization Information required to connect the Google Sheet with the user's SMSByMeta account The API key is used to authenticate the user's SMSByMeta account when communicating with the SMSByMeta service. 3. How We Use Google User Data Google user data accessed through the SMSByMeta integration is used only to provide the functionality requested by the user. The information may be used to: Authenticate and establish the user's SMSByMeta connection. Access contact information from the Google Sheet being used with the add-on. Synchronize selected contact information with the user's SMSByMeta account. Process messaging or synchronization requests initiated by the user. Provide customer support and troubleshoot the integration. Maintain the reliability, security, and functionality of the SMSByMeta service. SMSByMeta does not use Google user data for unrelated purposes. 4. Google Sheets Access SMSByMeta follows the principle of least privilege and requests only the Google authorization permissions required for the functionality of the integration. The integration currently uses: Google Sheets scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly This scope allows the add-on to work with the spreadsheet in the context in which the add-on is being used. SMSByMeta does not use the broader: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets scope. The Google Sheets data accessed by SMSByMeta is used only for the user-requested functionality of synchronizing contact information with the SMSByMeta platform. 5. Communication With SMSByMeta When a user connects the add-on or initiates a synchronization request, information may be transmitted from the Google Sheets add-on to SMSByMeta's servers. For example, during contact synchronization, the add-on may send: SMSByMeta API key Contact name Mobile number Email address Other contact information explicitly selected or processed by the user The communication is performed over HTTPS/TLS. SMSByMeta does not transmit Google user data to unrelated third parties for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or resale. 6. Data Sharing SMSByMeta does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Google user data may be transmitted to SMSByMeta's backend servers only when necessary to provide the functionality requested by the user, such as contact synchronization or messaging services. We may disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect the security and integrity of our services. Any sharing of Google user data is limited to what is necessary for the requested functionality or required for legitimate legal and security purposes. 7. Artificial Intelligence Services SMSByMeta may provide optional AI-powered features. Google Workspace user data obtained through Google APIs is not used to train, develop, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Google Workspace user data is not provided to AI services for model training. If a user explicitly requests an AI-powered feature that requires processing of user-provided content, that content may be processed only to provide the requested feature and subject to the applicable terms and privacy practices of the relevant service. 8. Google API Limited Use Compliance SMSByMeta's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing functionality that is directly related to the functionality of SMSByMeta. SMSByMeta does not: Sell Google user data. Use Google user data for advertising. Use Google user data for personalized or interest-based advertising. Transfer Google user data to data brokers. Use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. Use Google user data to train or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models. 9. Data Security SMSByMeta uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the service. These measures include: HTTPS/TLS for data transmitted between the add-on and SMSByMeta servers. Access controls designed to restrict access to authorized systems and personnel. Appropriate safeguards against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Security practices designed to protect authentication credentials and API keys. Limiting access to Google user data to functionality required by the service. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We continuously work to maintain appropriate safeguards for information processed through SMSByMeta. 10. Data Retention SMSByMeta retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain account functionality, provide customer support, maintain security, or comply with applicable legal obligations. Google user data is not retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was accessed. Where information is no longer required for the relevant service or legal purpose, it may be deleted or securely disposed of in accordance with applicable procedures. 11. Data Deletion Users may request deletion of information associated with their SMSByMeta account or information processed through the integration. To request deletion, please contact us using the contact information provided below. When a valid deletion request is received, SMSByMeta will review the request and delete applicable information unless retention is required by law, security requirements, dispute resolution, or another legitimate legal obligation. Users may also disconnect the SMSByMeta integration from their Google Sheets environment at any time. 12. User Control Users remain in control of their Google account and Google Sheets. The SMSByMeta add-on requests authorization before accessing Google Workspace data. Users can stop using the integration or revoke its Google authorization through their Google account settings. Users can also disconnect their SMSByMeta account from the add-on using the available disconnect functionality. 13. Third-Party Services SMSByMeta uses Google Workspace APIs and SMSByMeta backend services to provide the integration. The service may also use other third-party infrastructure or service providers where necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or provide requested functionality. Third-party services that receive information are limited to information necessary to provide the applicable service and are expected to handle information in accordance with applicable contractual, legal, and security requirements. SMSByMeta does not permit third parties to use Google user data for advertising, data brokerage, or unrelated purposes. 14. Children's Privacy SMSByMeta is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in violation of applicable requirements, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action. 15. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices. When changes are made, the updated policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. 16.
